Sealed Dungeons: How to Make the Most of Them
Sealed Dungeons, often marked with a “?” on your map, give Devinant Points, gear materials, and useful buffs. Here’s how to get the most out of them:
- Cluster Your Runs – Look for groups of dungeons in the same area and clear them together. This saves travel time and lets you chain rewards efficiently.
- Use as Power Boosts – Don’t rush into them blindly. Run these dungeons when your main quest progress slows down or when bosses feel tough. They stabilize your power and stats.
- Fly, Don’t Ride – Especially when entering enemy territory through Rifts. Ground mounts make you an easy target for ganks. Flying with Wind Serums keeps you safe and fast.
- Prioritize Growth Points – Some dungeons reward Daevanion Points or similar long-term currency. Focus on these—they help you grow account-wide, which is more valuable than temporary gear boosts.
- Timing Matters – Sealed Dungeons scale with your level. Save tougher runs for moments when you need XP or power to overcome a main story hurdle.
The Seal Status Effect: Using CC Smartly
The Seal debuff is a top-tier CC tool that can shut down enemy skills in both PvE and PvP:
- Target Magic Users – Seal works best on Sorcerers, Spiritmasters, or other skill-heavy classes. It stops their main abilities, leaving them vulnerable.
- Combine with Silence – For a near-perfect lockdown, pair Seal with Silence. The target won’t be able to use any skills, giving your team free damage time.
- Watch Resistances – Enemies may use Status Effect Resist Scrolls or buffs. Check for resistance icons before using Seal to avoid wasting your cooldown.
- Cleric Strategy – If you’re playing a Cleric, use Seal during high-pressure moments to disrupt enemy rotations, especially when your heals or shields are on cooldown.
